How to use Higgsfield Genjutsu
- Upload the motion video The clip whose movement you want to copy. One clear subject, full body in frame, works best.
- Add character images 1 to 8 pictures of the character that should perform the motion. More angles help the model keep the look consistent.
- Describe the look (optional) A short prompt for outfit, style, or setting. Leave it empty to let the images speak.
- Pick a resolution 720p by default; 480p is cheaper and faster for tests.
- Run it You get one video at the length of your source clip, with your character performing the source motion.
What you get
- True motion transfer. The source clip sets choreography and camera; your images set who's on screen — not a simple face paste.
- Up to 8 references. Stack angles and close-ups so Genjutsu holds identity through turns and spins.
- 480p or 720p. Draft cheap at 480p, then lock the look at 720p when the character reads right.
- No rigging required. Animate concept art, mascots, and game heroes from stills — no keyframes.
What is Higgsfield Genjutsu? Motion transfer without a face-swap mashup
Higgsfield Genjutsu is video-to-video motion transfer: film (or find) a performance, upload photos of who should do it, and get that character moving frame for frame.
Looking for a Higgsfield Genjutsu alternative with clear pricing? Run it here with Tyndall credits — same Genjutsu model, no separate Higgsfield subscription required for this tool page.
Use it to recast a dance, animate a character sheet, or prototype a shoot before you hire a crew. Pair with Replace Anyone when you need whole-person swaps with original audio instead of motion transfer.
Tips for a cleaner transfer
- Test at 480p first. Same motion, lower cost. Switch to 720p once the character reads right.
- Trim the source. Every second of input costs credits — cut to the movement you actually want.
- Front-facing, well-lit references. A clean full-body shot plus a face close-up gets you most of the way. Add side views for spins.
- One person in the motion video. Crowds and fast cuts confuse the transfer. A locked-off camera on a single performer is cleanest.
- Match the framing. If the source shows a full body, give a full-body character image too — or the legs get invented.
Higgsfield Genjutsu FAQ
What is Higgsfield Genjutsu?
Genjutsu is Higgsfield's motion-transfer model. It copies movement from a video onto a character defined by your photos.
How is it different from Replace Anyone?
Replace Anyone recasts people already in a clip and remuxes the original sound. Genjutsu transfers motion onto a new character look from still images — better for stylized avatars and concept art.
